I have a regular job but also is making poker a career on the side. I’m making about 4 times as much as my regular job and was thinking of taking poker on full time. Is this a good idea, I mean I’m good but not great at poker.

I’m sure you could find girls interested in a poker player, but girls who want to settle down and have a family probably would rather see you with a real job full time. If you’re just looking for fun girls, then I suppose playing poker doesn’t matter to them one way or the other.
Girls are probably more interested in who you are as a person. If you have a stable income then that’s a plus. If you make that playing poker, or playing the trumpet I don’t think it really matters.
What they might object to is you spending long anti-social hours in the casino instead of being with her.
I find it appealing because I play poker also. Don’t quit your regular job to be a “professional” player, keep it on the side. It is too unreliable and varying to be your main source of income.
